Parent Testimonies:
The NW BAVXGRP is a true blessing. My husband and I weren't 100% sure about whether or not to send our 1st grader back to his school with everything going on with the pandemic. We knew we wanted him to receive help from someone who knew how and what to teach, it was important for us that he had interaction with peers, and, most importantly, we didn't want him to be on his computer all day for his learning. Cheri, Jana and this program have been an answer to all of our hopes for ours son's school year.
The consistency, safety, quality of his learning, time spent experiencing school, not on a computer all day, and a small enough group setting to where we feel comfortable about his health and wellbeing has made a world of difference for us. Knowing that, this school year, our son wouldn't receive music, gym, library, and a lot of outdoor movement time was something that really bummed him, and us, out on.
My husband and I love his elementary school, and we loved his homeroom teacher that he started the year off with, but or decision to keep him with Cheri, Jana and the BAVXGRP group for the rest of the school year has been the best and easiest choice made. Our son gets one-on-one help from Cheri and Jana, he gets to experience hands on science experiments, music, cooking, art, physical fitness activities, social and emotional learning, mind and body exercises, and so much more that he wouldn't be able to do at his regular school this year.
We highly recommend this program for any parent wanting consistency and one-on-one support for their child, as well as a sense of relief and security that their child is getting exactly what they need during this crazy time we are all in right now.

Our son has been attending the NWBVX Center fulltime since September. From the very beginning Cheri and Jana took the time to get to know us as a family and our areas of focus. They have been easy to collaborate with and supportive of helping our son grow academically, socially, and emotionally. He has been challenged in a positive and supportive environment and given many tools to help him become a better learner. It has been so cool to hear him say “Sometimes I like to use the balance board, it helps my body learn”. Previously he used to avoid reading with every fiber of his being. He is now constantly sounding our signs in the community and asking to read. He even asks to play spelling games! It has been a joy to see our son’s excitement for learning grow and the confidence building in himself and his skills has been transforming.

For over past 2 years my children have been going to the BAXV center. As a mother of a brain cancer child, the center has provided an opportunity for my children to participate in sibling therapy, that connects, builds and enhances their sibling relationship while providing necessary skills to be successful! Our son has faced so many challenges in life has he has to over come all the reality of side effects of cancer. The Center is a trusted place for our children to learn, over come their individual challenges in a safe, caring loving environment, which even allows us as parents to participate and enhance our own abilities. Since COVID-19, the center has provided our child with a safe learning environment where he can participate in his online learning with specific individualized instruction, 1:1 support, life skills, therapy, BAVX skills, positive social interactions and over all self development. Our son is supported emotionally, socially, academically, and physically by the intentional care of the Cheri & Jana. They make meals togethers, participate in hands-on science activities, go to strength training together that supports a middle schoolers needs, they provide opportunities for leadership, exhort the students to be better regardless of their circumstances and support the students where they are at and who they are going to be. The Center encourages and challenges our son to excel, to over come the adversities, to be who he is and find his place in the world. The BAVX Center become an instrumental part of our “family”! The center values, appreciates and cherishes our children’s uniqueness. They show kindness, love while challenging them to be better in a safe secure environment. We are forever grateful for the Center for aspiring our children to overcome the challenges life gives us, to reconnect a sibling relationship that has been traumatized by cancer, for allowing a teenager a place where he is accepted and has a sense of belonging while the rest of “society” has dismissed him, for a place that provides academic needs while balancing “real life” skills. We are forever grateful for what the BAVX center has provided and continues to provide in these unknown times.
